![]() ![]() ![]() This is where F1 2017 stores its save data. Then, to delete your save data, go to your hard drive, Program Files or Program Files (x86), and Steam\userdata\\515220. To disable it, open Steam and navigate to your games library, right click on F1 2017, go to Properties -> Updates and untick “Enable Steam Cloud synchronization”. Steam’s cloud service will automatically download your old save when you reinstall the game for convenience and, in this case, annoyance. If that doesn’t solve your problem, it could also be a corrupted save file. Uninstalling the game may not be removing them on its own. If you haven’t already, you could try going into Documents\My Games\F1 2017\hardwaresettings and deleting the XML files in there. That’s really weird, the only thing I can think of ( besides the basic driver stuff I mentioned here) is that your hardware settings or save game might be corrupted - even if you haven't been able to start the game yet.
